Wholesale Material Handling is a full service material handling
company and we offer a lot of services to give our customers
all the support they need. Services include fabrication, code
compliance, installation and consultation.
Fabrication
Our full service fab shop allows us to match any size, specification
or color. We can meet any customer’s style, size and color.
If we don’t have the size you need, we can remanufacture rack
we do have so it matches the specifications of your existing
system. We don’t charge any extra to match the color you have
existing. Our fab shop also gives us the ability to help our
customers guard against forklift damage by adding column protection,
column backers and/or heavy duty strutting to uprights. We
also make our own footplates so any size seismic footplates
are available.
Code Compliance
Code compliance is another service we offer at Wholesale
Material Handling. We offer seismic prelims, seismic and structural
calculations and permitting services. Prelims define what
seismic specifications are required for your racking system
based on your load in your rack elevation at your physical
address. Once a rack system has been determined, we offer
seismic and structural calculations and engineered stamped
drawings to meet any national, state, county or municipal
codes. We also have partnerships to allow us to offer core
sampling of your floor and fire compliance. After all engineering
has been completed, we offer permitting services including
submitting appropriate paperwork to municipality, following
up with any red lines and calling for inspection upon final
approval.
Installation
Wholesale is a California licensed contractor and offers
installation services. We are licensed and bonded to meet
or exceed any requirements you may have. We have the capability
to install anything from one storage cabinet to an entire
automated system. We also have partnerships that allow us
to install jobs in any state in America.
Consultation
Consulting services available are design as well as process
analysis and engineering studies. Wholesale offers free design
and layout of standard rack and shelving systems. For more
complex requirements, we offer fee based engineering to examine
your processes and do engineering studies on your material
handling systems, logistics operations or supply chain network.
We also offer surveys of your OSHA/CBC compliance. Having
